The Impact of Lorraine Kelly’s Happiness Necklace Collaboration

Television presenter Lorraine Kelly has been extremely active in recent weeks, juggling her time between promoting her new novel, The Island Swimmer, and appearing on various TV shows such as The Last Leg and Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway. Alongside these commitments, she continues to host her morning show on ITV, showcasing her fabulous style in a range of chic outfits.

One notable aspect of Lorraine’s on-screen looks is the recurring presence of a special jewellery piece known as The Happiness Necklace. This necklace, created in collaboration with British silver jewellery brand Kit Heath and HELLO! magazine, features an 18-carat gold plated bead intertwined with a silver disc on a sterling silver chain. Not only does it add a touch of elegance to Lorraine’s outfits, but it also serves a greater purpose by supporting the UK charity Smart Works.

Smart Works is a charity dedicated to dressing and coaching women seeking employment, offering them the tools and support they need to succeed in the workforce. With Lorraine Kelly’s collaboration with Kit Heath and HELLO! magazine, 500 jewellery pieces have been donated to the charity to help women feel confident during job interviews. This initiative aligns with the Duchess of Sussex’s patronage of Smart Works since 2019, further highlighting the significance of empowering women in the workplace.

Over the years, Smart Works has made a significant impact, assisting over 35,000 women in securing employment opportunities. With a focus on providing tailored dressing consultations and one-to-one coaching sessions, the charity has helped 69% of its clients find work within a month. Recognized as the Social Action Charity of the Year at the Charity Awards in 2017, Smart Works continues to expand its reach, with plans to establish new centers in Bristol and Liverpool.

Promotional Incentives

To encourage support for the collaboration and the Smart Works charity, new customers of Kit Heath can enjoy a 15% discount on their first orders by signing up to shop. This promotional offer not only benefits the customers but also contributes to the ongoing efforts to empower women in the workforce. By raising awareness and generating interest in the cause, Lorraine Kelly’s collaboration serves as a platform for promoting social impact and driving positive change in the community.
